"We are very happy that in just one year the Lithuanian fleet has grown to five dinghies. Given the level of interest shown by local
sailors I am hopeful that next year we will have at least 8 boats in our fleet.
The Lithuanian Sailing Union are being very supportive and have promised to grant the dinghy fleet official recognition.
Three 12-foot dinghies took part in the XIX international sailing regatta 'Autumn Wind' which was held on Lithuania's
biggest lake at the beginning of October 2009."

Lithuanian built dinghies have been on sale in France and Italy since 2006, however the early boats were not built
in accordance with the Dutch or Italian rules and were sold as 'being in the style of an International 12-foot Dinghy'.
Since 2007 the International Association has encouraged the Lithuanian constructors to build boats which conform to the Class
rules and regulations, and recently a Lithuanian-built boat has been granted a class certificate.
